Full Time & Part Time Job Openings for Dispatcher
24 hour coverage needed weekend and evening shifts available.
The dispatcher will answer all incoming calls to the company and direct callers to the appropriate department and/or take messages. When the call is a request for healthcare services, information is taken regarding the services required and the dispatcher will coordinate with technicians in the field providing the services. The dispatcher is the first line of support for employees in the field. The dispatcher will also arrange for the delivery of images and other parcels with the company couriers. Follow up and the delivery of test results via fax as well as handling basic customer service issues are also within the scope of the dispatcher's responsibilities.
Applicants must have strong customer service and organizational skills, as well as computer skills and the ability to handle a fast paced healthcare environment. Some health care knowledge and experience working in a call center or other dispatch position a plus.
